System SP

With the SP System, the clamping sleeves are compressed in the direction of the force by introducing an axial force, which causes them to expand radially. This simultaneously eliminates the clearance between the clamping sleeve and the workpiece, and between the clamping sleeve and the main body. The workpiece is clamped.

Depending on the clamping device and the design of the clamping sleeves as well as the workpiece tolerance, concentricity deviations up to 0.002 mm can be achieved with the SP System. Because of this high level of precision, the SP System is also used for tool clamping in addition to workpiece clamping.
